The transmission part, as an important part of the scraper machine, is mainly composed of an electric motor, a reducer, a sprocket, a head frame, a tongue plate, a blind shaft, a chain tensioner, and other components. The connecting cover connects the electric motor and reducer as a whole, and the power is transmitted to the sprocket through the reducer. The sprocket drives the scraper to form a closed infinite drive chain, thus playing a role in transporting coal. The fully mechanized sprocket and sprocket shaft assembly are important components of the head of the fully mechanized scraper machine. In coal mining, the sprocket is driven by a reducer, and the chain drives the scraper to run in the middle groove, thereby achieving the purpose of transporting coal and other materials. Due to the continuous contact between the chain and the sprocket body, the sprocket teeth of the sprocket are easily worn out. After the sprocket teeth wear out, it is easy to cause faults such as chain jumping in the scraper machine.

The fully mechanized sprocket and sprocket shaft assembly are forged and processed from 42CrMo or 45CrMnMo materials, suitable for fully mechanized scraper conveyors. The sprocket requires that the forging surface must not have defects such as cracks, interlayers, wrinkles, forging injuries, slag inclusions, scars, etc. The sprocket tooth surface has a quenching hardness of HRC50-55 and a quenching layer depth of 10mm.
